You play as Samuel Higgins, a guy with a creative mind that likes to research anomalies and post it to his website. Samuel is trying to cope with the sad background of his life, most majorly, his dad having dementia and dying from it. His partner, Dan, helps him with his research. Reports of a facility described as some sort of abandoned government laboratory has spiked in popularity lately. This is a new creepy mystery to check out for Samuel. The building has a peculiar name, I.C.U. Laboratories. It does not matter, this is your next big mission. Only problem is, the place can get a little, dangerous.
