I want a Christmas tree

The elves want to give a present to their friend Adam. After some discussion, they decide to give him a Christmas tree. In an elven ritual, the elves can shape the plant they desire by watering it a specific number of times—so they venture into the forest to commune with its creatures and seek the answer.
