The Mussles On These Characters Feel... Wrong, Somehow...

i call this, SONICTASTIC

dunno why, but trying to boot up the game will have it crash on the startup screen, before I even get to any menus!

can you make 32-bit please

I legit don't know how to get into an actual fight. After selecting my character and color *which I assume is only one option* it's waiting for a player 2 prompt to select a character and such, even when I do against cpu or in training mode. The user interface while not the best would be fine if it wasn't so finicky. I had to ALT+F4 the first time I tried playing and couldn't figure out how to go back. You have to take your little pog for selecting a character and drag it to the upper left where the small arrow is and hit the confirm button. Either way though I can't get started, just a shame.

Going forward, when describing a characters attack, I'll use numpad notation. For example, a crouching heavy attack will be shorten to 2H. This is so I can fit more info within the devlog posts. The image above also assumes you're using an Xbox controller

Minus a few bugs, the new CSS is finally complete! Players will now have the option to select costumes on the CSS! Here are the first 3 colors of Sonic's default costume, along with the corresponding battle sprites.

After about a week and a half, I can safely say that the new CSS is about 75% complete. All that's left now is a few touch-ups and it'll be done!

The engine I'm currently using doesn't come with the option to choose costumes by default, so I'll have to manually add that feature in. When it is added in, this will be the first costume added. This is based off of clothes that Sonic owned in the OVA.

Tails Light Auto Combo.

A 3 hit combo starting with an upward kick, followed up by a flying roundhouse that sends the opponent upward. The last hit knocks the opponent away from Tails.

Tails Medium Auto Combo.

A 3 (technically 4) hit combo that starts with an upward 2-hit punch. This is then followed by a backhand, and a rising uppercut. You can air dash after the last hit.
