Very Nice. Is it actually possible to roll up the final tree? I may have played it for a bit longer than I initially intended. You're right about it being relaxing!
Looks great, but I think the graphics are just beyond this old refurbished machine!
Hello ! This looks pretty cool but I can't run it on my pc : missing MSVCR120.dll maybe some redistribuable ?
Super inspiring and amazing. Any Chance I'd be able to get a screenshot of the blueprints used to make the objects stick to each other and such?
Love the look of this. I love how chill it is. Well done. I included it in a Katamari Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) http://youtu.be/Av6HaM713Ck
Katanamari
This is my entry to the Katamari Game Jam. Built in UE4. I've taken an abstract-minimalist approach, simply gather flowers around the garden. It's designed to be a peaceful, relaxing experience with no time limits, health or way to loose (queue the inevitable 'what constitutes a game' question) . If anybody has crits or comments, please leave them below. And if you would like to know how I did anything or screen caps of my blueprints, just give me a shout.
Extract the archive and open the Katanamari.bat file to play. I'm not sure if there are distributables that are required for EU4 to run, so let me know if you have any issues. I'm also pretty sure it will require a half decent PC to run.
Controls:
WASD / Arrows / Left Stick - Move the Katanamari
Mouse / Right Stick - Move the camera
Esc - Quit
