What do you think?

I like it. I think the game would benefit a lot from music, more sound effects, and better gameplay design (no offense). What I mean by the latter is enhancing the player experience specifically.

What sticks out to me is the colors. Red are the enemies, green are powerups, but then blue is... projectiles from the enemy and also your player? They don't act the same, so giving them the same color is confusing. I would suggest making the laser yellow to indicate that it is a part of your player. Games with such simplistic design are both easy and difficult to get right in terms of communicating things to the player without text, so I think this change would benefit the player's understanding.

Another issue is the randomness. As-is, you have to wait for a powerup to spawn and hope it appears in a reachable spot. What I think would be more interesting and fun on the player's side is being able to sacrifice hefty points for a weaker version of the powerup to activate instantly (on a cooldown, of course). This allows the player to feel in control and make choices, enhancing the essence the game has and making points more valuable.

Just my ideas and opinions. It's a fun idea and I would love to see it expanded.
