A goofy and hilarious Text Based Adventure.
Never really expected to have as much fun as I did playing this game. I'm usually the type of person who only sticks to one genre like Horror, but this game is an exception. A well thought out story, multiple endings, and comedy that doesn't require profanity to be funny (Yes, I'm one to talk, but it's true!).
Overall, it's one of my favorite Text Based Adventure games I've played this year, and surprisingly enough, it's free to play. If you ever get the opportunity to support the dev, I'd definitely recommend checking out his Patreon and throwing a few bones his way, the dude deserves it.

This game is like a hug from ancient monster, oddly pleasant yet also unnerving. If you are a fan of listening to the horrifying noise of necks breaking and cracking from swallowing a fridge whole this is simply the game for you. Actually, this game has a little something for everyone. Horror, comedy, depression, becoming a ghost, being killed as a ghost, eating bugs for pleasure, seriously if you want it, it is probably there. If you don't want it, it is also probably there.
Seriously though, good game. I would rate it 4 prickly porcupines out of 5.

I adore the concept, visually enjoy the minimal/clean layout, & the little bits of sound bites/music(s) manage to add a bit more depth to the answer you pick.. Either grossing you out or making the situation that much more tense or real...
The actual branching consequences of choices & HUGE array of said choices are almost staggering. You could go at it by feel or methodically test out different choice combos to see what ending you get! The consequences of each action or combo of actions are anything from 'oh, okay, I could see that' to 'WHAT HAVE I JUST READ', & with that variety it keeps things interesting even when you hafta pick some of the same options in a single run.. Keeps you guessing as to what could possibly happen next & pushes that slightly addicting gameplay.
Kyle is Famous is basically an awesome game for those of you who enjoy more reading & choice based story games, filled with a BUNCH of silly & random things thrown your way in a way that keeps you wondering just how you can get each & every ending possible.
Take Control of Kyle in this Text-Based Adventure. . .
Make decisions for Kyle that will affect every part of his day. Take Kyle's hand through 21 unique endings, each determined by what Kyle has done and who he has interacted with. He needs you. Be kind.
Kyle can swallow his fridge. . .
. . .and Kyle can travel time and steal from the locals and dump lard on his neighbor and many, many other things that KYLE SHOULD NOT DO. Take Kyle's hand. Direct him. Tell him what he ABSOLUTELY SHOULD NOT DO. Confidently help Kyle. He needs you.
Kyle has 21 endings. . .
. . .but only one of them is the good, well-prepared ending that you are going to guide Kyle to. Who knows what would happen if you weren't there for him? Would he destroy the city? Gossip about his neighbor? Fight crime? Revive a dead loved one?
Be Alert. . .
. . .and be careful. Things may not entirely be what them seem. . .
