In my opinion the game was ok you had the atmosphere down pat but all the scares were just jumpscares and you need a lot more to a game besides that. Don't get me wrong it was still a great game and with some fine tuning it would be awesome.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXE3aoFKVg8&feature=youtu.be <-- My let's play.
Here's my video broski. I have to say This game has ALOT of potential to be something great. Only thing i didn't like was the Massive amount of jumpscares. They were just so common that It ended up breaking the atmosphere. But i really enjoyed it. also, What's the ring for? Like is that Life source or light source? Please reply. Overall I really enjoyed my self. The atmosphere was spot on. Jumpscares..Eh Work on it please there's too many and Also Put some more Different stuff. it's kinda repetitive (jump scare wise) . But yeah I really enjoyed my self. You can do a lot with this. So. Good job man. =D
Going to try and do a LP of this. :D I'll let you know when I upload it.
Did a gameplay for your game if your interested in watching :P
It lacked jumpscares but the atmosphere was good :D]
8.5/10
I was saying during the video that I would give it an 8 but the skull came out and scared the shit out of me so I gave it a another .5
Hey guys, I've just done a Let's Play of this game. It's a great game, play it! Then watch the video :P
The startup says "Demo", but I'm not likely to go back and finish this.
Lightbound was created in the span of two weeks for a 'scary game' competition, in 2011, and I nearly completely forgot I had it.
I classify it as a simplistic 'horror' game.
Controls:
Arrow keys: Move and turn
Space: Activate/Take item
Shift: Duck/Crouch
J: Secret function!
F4 for fullscreen, Escape to quit.
NOTES:
There's an interesting item hidden in the game, which could be considered an Easter Egg. To find it, you'll have to "look beyond the exit".
Enjoy.
