If you work on this some more graphics opioins are nice my good PC is slow from this so....its a good start.
Interesting submission. I saw my shadow and saw only the hands shadow btw :D
Anyway I find the game's movement very slow, it's not responsive (seems the character is like a car, and I want it to go left but it still has some inertia going forward or something). There is not much visual cue when enemies are hitting you. I was low HP and thought I was never hit. For some reason I see my mouse cursor moving arond the screen and not being hidden ( so I see crosshair and my mouse around)
If you die, the level reloads.
Ifyou kill all of the enemies, the game auto closes.
Controls:
[W,A,S,D] Movement
WeaponSwapping is with the[1] and [2] keys (if you can find the crossbow...)
[space] jumps.
[E] interacts
[L.Shift] Sprint
Sprinting uses stamina
punching uses stamina
when stamina is at 0, you cannot sprint.
when stamina is at 0, you punch slower.
Flavor:
In a land where bandits have taken over a forest... One werewolf has had enough...
Note: Release with a deadline for a gamejam... there are plenty of things that need fixed, but this is what I was able to get done by the deadline.
the game will auto close if you win.
the game will reload the level if you die.
... you shouldn't die... its intentionally very easy.
Known problems:
sometimes the AI acts a bit weird, I'm still tweaking my melee ai.
the audio... it can be downright annoying. I had to get something in at the last minute for the gamejam...
The title screen doesn't fit the actual screen in all resolutions.
friction on walls allows you to climb infinately
when you first pick up the crossbow, both the crossbow and the wolf arms are present (simply clicking between 1 and 2 resolves this).
I was unable to include the "Magnetic" mechanic and release the game on time for the jam. so the name fidelity is a bit off. I'll own that one.
Wilbur Cobb doesn't heal you when you talk to him. I must have forgotten to attach that script.
