The game is very cool keep it up
I love this, the animations, the visuals, the sounds everything is fantastic. It take some time geting use to the controls, but it's a excellent game. Congrats!!!
"Alright, if your WASD fingers are all limbered up, lets do our job, okay? I just hope this Rift is another real one... 'cause three in a row, this week alone... I don't know what I'd do with the bonus check Corp would give us from that many true Rift shutdowns. "
Manticore has the ability to latch onto walls in the background, turning this side-scrolling platformer into a top-down perspective at the press of a button.
Get to the end gate... but remember the code you find along the way; It won't reset when you die, but it will be randomized if you exit the level.
WASD - Move
Space - Jump
Arrow Keys - Shoot
Left Shift - Latch onto Walls
Esc (Hold 1 Second) - Exit Level
This is actually a remake of the very first game I tried to make in GameMaker Studio 2. Unfortunately, I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted to do, and I was still learning the basics of the engine and game design in general, so after about a year and a half of work, I had to scrap it.
Then I was introduced to unity, and saw how much built in functionality this engine has right out of the box. That really forced me to re-think the concept, and allowed me to throw together a prototype incredibly quickly.
It's not a particular long or spectacular game, but because of the feeling of redemption I have right now... it's one I'm truly proud of, despite all its flaws.
Speaking of which, please do leave a comment; point out every single one of those flaws, because chances are I don't know about all of them!
Thanks for playing!

Thank you to all of you that played this game, it means a lot to me, and I really hope you enjoyed. I don't have plans to further update this game... for now... but I do have another game in the works!
