At first, it’s just another sunny day in the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario sets off to rescue the princess like always, bouncing through familiar blocks, pipes, and Goombas. World 1-1 feels safe. Too safe.

But with each new level, things begin to change.
The music shifts.
No enemies appear, even at world 1-1.
The sky grows darker.
And the horror... begins.

By the time Mario reaches World 6-6, there is no turning back.
Something is wrong.
Something is watching.
And in the end…
Mario dies.
