it is so awesome to see it come back, i was obsessed with md2 for a WHILE, hopefully md3 goes well!

Mario's Dream 3 is very early in development. Not all information is finalized.
Years after the series presumably ended, Mario's Dream returns with the third entry. A certain threat has resurfaced, trapping Mario and his allies in a dream they may never wake up from... unless they work together and escape!
Use the arrows on the screen to move through the environment and complete objectives.
Hostile entities run rampant through Mario's mind, although he's not defenseless. Using his new Fire Flower Gauntlet, shoot fireballs from your fingers to melt those monsters! You can also use it to destroy objects and gather various collectibles. Mario's trusty ally Starlow will also tag along to assist with new mechanics introduced to the series. Be mindful and search for Life Mushrooms by destroying objects if you're low on health.
Face levels with different entities and objectives, and be prepared to fight bosses with more engaging gameplay than the other entries in the series.
Although she'd rather be tormenting our mustachioed hero, Mimi has partnered up with the plumber... as long as he's got the Rubees.
Mimi has left her antagonistic role... well, mostly behind. Collect Rubees during your journey and bring them to Mimi's Warehouse. She'll provide you with various goods, like Upgrades!
These two may have become unlikely allies, but if you bring along a friend for Versus Mode*, they can go head-to-head as one player survives as Mario and the other causes chaos as Mimi.
*Versus Mode is couch multiplayer. Online play with a friend is possible if using Parsec or a similar program.
Birdo Quests, a feature previously planned for the second game, makes its return.
Give the plumber a break and face quests as Birdo! The pink dino is a glass cannon who offers different mechanics and a new weapon, the Rubee Staff. Birdo has only one heart, so take caution as you traverse these harder levels.
If you're up for the challenge, rewards await you for the completion of quests. Can you complete them all using Birdo's set of skills?
