After Sonic and Tails battle Eggman in the Death Egg, Eggmans last resort is to blow up the Death Egg, leaving Sonic stranded in space whilst Tails escapes. An entity that has been in space for decades and needs a body for his full proof plan decides to take over Sonic, slowly decaying his body to fully take over.
