Black voids, hidden chambers, bloodstained notes...What has happened here?

As you journey through this broken and shattered world, the real reason that you are here, the reason that everything is consumed by darkness and nightmares...
It will all start to make sense...

However, as you get closer and closer to the end, to finding out what has truly occurred here, something becomes clear...
