Misplaced is a tense, atmospheric horror game that places players in the haunting ruins of an abandoned house within the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. You are Alan, an explorer who wakes up disoriented, alone, and without a functioning protective mask, as radiation levels creep dangerously high. Memories of how you got there are fragmented, leaving you with only one mission—find a way out before it’s too late.
Storyline: Your journey begins in an empty, decayed room, when the silence is broken by faint footsteps above. The house appears to change around you, as if it’s alive, trapping you and hiding the path you came from. As Alan explores deeper, he uncovers chilling evidence of past explorers who never made it out—photos, forgotten belongings, and ominous notes detailing their final moments. Whispers fill the air, shadows linger, and puzzles lie scattered across rooms, all relics of a dark past.
Each puzzle Alan solves unravels more of the house’s haunting story, tying him closer to the fates of those who came before. But the house resists, warping his surroundings, bending time, and pushing Alan to the edge of madness. His only hope is to find a new mask, solve the mysteries, and escape before the house claims him too.
