Really interesting game, though I wasnt sure what was really going on. I included it in part 7 of my Adventure Jam compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) https://youtu.be/y1m0ZpI7heE
An interesting experiment!
It might have been easier to follow the concurrent narratives if the subtitles had have been in different colours for different characters' lines. The phone felt readily discoverable, but I couldn't find a code to type into it. Have I missed something?
Thanks for providing a Linux build!
top-down view tends to be confusing, might need a mini map or something Game design needs to teach the player how to play without him even realizing it in the first level (or beginning of the game if you will), so maybe the phone should be highlighted or something? I dunno, these are just suggestions. Don't take them personally.
This sounds really interesting actually. Count on me playing it when I have the time
NICO is an experimet.
We are trying to narrate many stories, all in the same time, and the same place.
The city at night. 3.47 to 3.52.
A gunshot in the distance, party's music, hungry calls.
A dead body on the floor. It seems familiar.
Your corpse is down there, starying at the phone.
But you are not there.
It's just like swimming.
