Does this game have something to do with the fnaf story?, or does it have it's own story?
So, I thought I'd give a little review on the demo.
Game-play: Obviously, there isn't really much top discuss since, again, it's just a night 1 demo, but it seems good. The only suggestion I have is to make the night a bit longer, and have one or two of the animatronics active on the first night.
Graphics: The game looks good! The modelling, the lighting, the GUI, all that stuff. I also like the little references in the office. I do have two main problems though:
I feel like the cameras are too static-y, not only does it make it hard to see things but it's also just kinda uncomfortable to look at.
The locker doesn't have an animation, which kinda breaks the immersion, especially when everything else does have an animation.
Audio: All the audio is really good. I particularly like the sounds of open/closing the monitor and switching cameras. I like the ambience, both in the menu and in the game-play. I also like the phone guy's voice and personality (The way he said "Yeah um... there was a lot of panic and screaming, wasn't very fun, not gonna lie." is just hilarious to me.) Although the sounds of the locker, while satisfying, didn't really fit.
Bugs: There were some bugs, as to be expected with a demo.
The aspect ratio gets squished when you maximize the game and restore it down, and it doesn't really look good. Strangely enough, in the main menu it looks correct when it's maximized, but in the gameplay itself it looks more natural when it's NOT maximized. I might know how to fix this.
I couldn't figure out how to use the flashlight. Phone guy says that it's on the desk but I didn't see it. This might just be because you haven't added it yet though.
When I move side to side in the office, the number indicating the time moves up and down slightly. When I'm moving all the way to one side or the other it's a bit lower, while if I'm anywhere in-between it's a bit higher. The AM text doesn't move though, it's just the number.
Well, I guess that's it. By the way, I'm not trying to be mean or anything by pointing out flaws, in fact it's quite the opposite. So far this looks really promising, and everyone who is working on this game is doing a great job! This is purely to try to help make the game even better!
