Observation at Freddy's: Missing Location - Observation Night (Extra Nights) 100% Walkthrough

https://youtu.be/1NNigpOTWnY

I always felt like this crossover was basically inevitable. Great work.

Turns out I do have a GameJolt Account. Keep up the good work and I hope you get 1.5k followers lol. I wanna see how the sequel plays

Observation Duty meets Five Nights at Freddy's with new mechanics and a revamped story! Fend off the animatronics while searching the cameras for anything out of place.

Created using Unreal Engine 5, with phone calls voiced by AstralSpiff!

STORY

The year is 1985. Your local Freddy’s Fazbear’s Pizza ran into some controversy a few months back, and reports of health issues and hallucinations have been plaguing the establishment ever since. Soon after, you began taking an odd shift or two every week. Your busy schedule prevents you from taking as many shifts as you’d like, but you’re committed to getting in as many shifts in as possible. This month, you’ll aim for five full nights.

While the story for 2 more games in this series has already been fully written and referenced throughout this game, Observation at Freddy’s is a fully solvable, standalone mystery hidden in plain sight!

CONTENT

There are 200 anomalies, about half of which are exclusive to the extra nights. ~40 or so are easter eggs!

A 5 night classic campaign without anomalies.

A 3 night observation campaign with only anomalies.

Development phone calls, for anyone wanting to hear about the process of making the game.

6 unlockable plushies for beating the different nights.

5 toggleable modifiers that change the way the game is played.

Freecam unlocked after beating Night 5.

6 extra nights:

  • Observation Night: Just the Observation Duty part of the game

  • Classic Night: Just the FNAF part of the game

  • Max Night: Everyone at max AI

  • Realtime: 6 realtime hours, with 30 minute checkpoints (tested and beaten)

  • Discover Night (Easy and Hard): Anomalies constantly spawn and despawn. Fix 100 to win the night.

Edge of Sanity - Zeffox300

MECHANICS

These will be taught through phone calls and tips ingame, but for anyone curious/struggling, this serves as a breakdown of each threat.

Golden Freddy - Creates artifacting on the camera. Refresh the cameras to remove artifacting. Refreshing a normal camera creates artifacting on another camera. If there are too many artifacted cameras when you flip your camera down, he’ll appear in your office. If there are still too many artifacted cameras next time you flip the camera down, he’ll kill you.

Chica - Moves towards your office door. If she’s at your office door, close the door until she leaves. After trying to attack, she cannot attack again for several movements. She can also appear near your door. If she moves from near your door to your doorway, or vice versa, you’ll hear her footsteps. There is no footstep sound when moving from a camera to the door. Can reach the doorway from the West Hall Corner or near door positions. Will always move away from the doorway in 4 seconds after being flashed.

Bonnie - Similar to Chica, but slower. Cannot be seen using the lights once the door is closed. Check the cameras and listen for footsteps to know when it’s safe to open back up. Can reach the doorway from the East Hall Corner, East Hall, Supply Closet, or near door positions.

Freddy - Freddy will typically laugh each time he moves. If he moves without laughing, he’ll try to kill you in 10 seconds. Close the office door he's closest to or stare at him on cams at that 10 second mark. You're good to open the door/stop watching him once he moves. Watch out for back-to-back hidden laughs in the challenge nights!

Foxy - Look at Pirate Cove every once in a while, or else Foxy will leave the cove. When he disappears from the Pirate Cove camera, check the East Hall and West Hall to know which door he’s attacking. Don’t open your door unless you see him back on a camera.

The stranger pieces in the story might fit together more clearly if/when I make Grand Reopening, but the story of the missing location IS solvable. Always love seeing reactions to canon anomalies!

P.S. New update, bug fixes n classic campaign balancing

New update! A few more easter egg anomalies, new office buttons, and WAY more developer phone calls.

P.S. How many characters can you find in the pic?

I'm liking the new buttons much more! Should be an update in a few days, but I need to record a lot of audio for a mildly amusing joke that MAYBE 3 people will find (it'll be worth trust)

I tried out Observation at Freddy's in VR! It doesn't work very well (obviously), but you can see that lights and animatronics aren't rendered if they aren't on your active cam. I do want to make a proper VR port one day, though.

The complaints about the door/light buttons are justified, they're just default cubes right now haha. So, what should I swap them to?

(Pics are just examples of the options)
