Game definitely needs a lot of tuning and polishing, combat needs some adjustments along with the boss fights and hitboxes. You also need to hire a female VA because it's very off-putting hearing the antagonist sounding like a guy (no disrespect intended). The level designs also aren't bad but they definitely need a second look at, because they feel like they could be more while the backgrounds can be more static. Otherwise, the game looks extremely promising and has the potential to be a very, very fun and replayable. I still enjoyed myself despite its current state. If you're willing to make improvements, I'd be willing help out if I'm able.
Controls need a lot of work but overall it's a fun game. Adding the option to jump then shoot (not just shoot then jump) would make it better. Also, I think making Shadow's bullets able to absorb enemy bullets would make combat less frustrating. Giving the melee attacks more rang and power would also be a good idea. As it stands now, melee atacks are useless.
