That Music, that Style, that Story, that minimal Gameplay: thank you
it was good, but not for the "deep story" as some people seem to argue. rather, the way the gameplay mechanics tie in with the whole theme and feel of the game (the whole persisting thing) is what makes this truly special. good job
do a download mode because flash is ded
Wow! Super awesome. Deep story. I loved it. Hope you can make a full length game with the same engine. The jump is perfect in this game!
Nice style. Love the story and the level design, plus a creative idea in general. Only problem is the jumping controls. They just feel too floaty. One one hand, it makes this harder, but difficulty should not be determined by a games overall control, and I'm a bit ashamed to say that the game felt suddenly easier once my legs were gone.

Story:
Persist is a tale of a small spirit, trying to seek a mysterious Goddess to forgive his past sins so he can move on to higher plane of existence. Unfortunately, the Goddess really resents him, and tries her hardest to keep the spirit from reaching her, stealing his various body parts and various skills with them. Lose your arms, and you can't swim, lose your legs, and you can no longer jump.
Can you reach salvation? Or are you doomed to lose all hope, and your whole existence, in the deep and dark sanctuary of the Goddess?
