Hi , I like the game. RTS created an engine with GM from scratch? You have the engine and editor? you share it ? I would love to create an RTS it much want to develop .
Friend, I played your game and had fun with it, beated all the levels xD I have an question, from a dev to a dev. How did you make the fog of war? I use Game Maker Studio 1.4 and have not found any tutorials that actually explain how to create 2 fogs, the black fog that hides unexplored areas and the transparent fog that hides only enemy units. Can it only be done on a grid based terrain? I highly doubt it but please explain to me how you did it regardless!

hello. I have played your game. It's wonderful. It was difficult to win and interesting to play. Having some expierience of coding in gamemaker I inderstand how difficult it was to make such a game. How many hours it took to make it?
Pillage & Plunder is a simple, fantasy-themed, fully-fledged real-time strategy game, featuring exploration, base and unit construction, resource management, unit upgrades, a basic technology tree, and combat. Four scenarios against an artificially intelligent adversary are available to play.
The game contains one playable race, five different types of building, and three different types of unit.
Pillage & Plunder is primarily designed as a proof of concept for a real-time strategy game made in Game Maker 8.1.
