Remember when you used to blame the computer for cheating when you were a kid? This game brings back all those painful memories. Ah, to be young and naive again...
In all serious, this was a fantastic (and frustrating) game. The concept is rather unique, all the while maintaining to classic platforming foundations. The platforming was spot on, graphics were killer, and difficulty was NES hard (even on medium).
The only complaint I have is with the controls. I understand this is meant to be a two-player game on one control unit, and on keyboard that's fine. But, for controller support, it's super hard to jump with LT on the X360 controller, let alone hitting up on the thumbstick.
Overall, I could play this game twenty levels deep as a Steam or console store title.
Oh man, I love this game. It was pretty confusing at the beginning but if you play enough it's easy.
This game made me remember what it's like to have a shitty (cursing is allowed, right?) computer. Maybe that's why I'm not raging that hard.
1.2.0 VERSION OUT!
New content added. Don't miss it!
You can play Player vs. Game by yourself in the single player mode, but we highly recommend that you play with a friend of yours. It is a more balanced and better experience overall.
This multiplayer game (with a single player option) challenges one player to make it to the goal and the other one to take on the role of the game to put an end to the player's life.
The PLAYER has one goal: get a coin and bring it to the arcade machine.
The GAME has another one: descontruct the game itself and use all its elements to make the player suffer. Once the game has loaded the KILLER SCREEN, it can kill the player.
Controls:
PLAYER 1: AWSD or directional keys or joystick for the controller.
PLAYER 2: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or A, B, X, Y for the controller.
Hold ESCAPE or BACK (on the controller) to go back or exit the game.
