What do you think?

Paraphrasing this from Occazio's video showcasing the normal route that I saw before playing this myself.

The ERAM fight being the final attack is perfect!

This version of the purple soul mechanic is brilliant, absolutely genius. I always considered the sword minigames to be chapter 3's soul mechanic, and this showcases that in a great way. I prefer the grid version of the soul's movement, since it's more unique, though for it to actually work and also be fair, some attacks'd probably need to be rebalanced and polished up a decent bit.

This is such a great fight on its own right, and if the art were touched up a bit (the actual boss sprite is a tad ugly, and the sword segments could be layered on the screen behind the main fight, without fading to black, to make for a less abrupt transition), and like I said, some things reworked and polished (some attacks make the soul move weird, some attacks are a bit unfair, sword aiming's kinda weird, and a few of the sword minigames would probably feel better were the music to keep playing like in the John mantle attack, or even to transition into an 8bit remix of the song (a tall order, though, it seems)), I'd downright consider this canon.

Either way, I really hope this reaches more people! I'd love to see a v2, though on its own I think it's a real achievement, and I commend the work that's been put into making it a reality.

Nice game, good story, good dialogues, but the balance is HORRIBLE, the soul movement and the sword aiming, it's just honestly pmo bro :wilting_flower:

Very good and with a lot of effort put onto it, probably the best vs ramb so far but it needs a huge nerf

Deltarune: Plugged Dream

Version: 1.2.13 days ago

"AFTER OUR FRIENDS,
AFTER OUR JOY,
WE WILL NEVER DIE."

WARNING: THIS FANGAME CONTAINS FLASHING LIGHTS AND OTHER EPILEPSY TRIGGERS! IF YOU HAVE EPILEPSY, PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

After completing the Mantle minigames in the S-Rank room, Susie shows up and pulls you out of them, leaving you with... A LOT of questions.
But… what if things didn’t go quite the same?

What if something was... weirder?

That's where the idea is coming from:

Now, after completing these minigames, Ramb comes in to ask you some questions of games and how fun they were. But after that, he tells that there are lots, lots of unfinished Mantle prototypes exist on discarded cartridges, but, as Ramb knows, none will boot on the console. With jealousy that Kris won't be able play the games, Ramb decides to tell a backup plan, and...

Well, something surely happens!

In this Deltarune fangame, you can use the Purple Soul!

No, It's not the one with strings from Undertale. you know Deltarune is a parallel of it, right?

Free movements, choices, and spinning sword! (Note: the sword is NOT spinning.)

This fangame was made in the Deltarune fangames engine called KRISTAL, which was also made in an engine called LÖVE2D.

Deltarune was made by Toby Fox, and the fangame was made by Funkin's Garbage.

Kaizo (Bossfight Theme) and Ramb's design inspiration were made by 𝚆.𝙳. 𝙶𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚛.
