Poor Jared is a unique 3D survival game developed using the Godot engine, where you step into the shoes of Jared, a character struggling to survive in a harsh, unforgiving environment. I, the developer, made it with limited knowledge in game making, this being the first ever game released. With inventory and crafting systems yet implemented, players must scavenge, build, and strategize to stay alive. The game offers both singleplayer and multiplayer modes, allowing for solo adventures or cooperative survival with friends. Currently, the game is a world-exploring experience only and can be a funny game to play with friends... Maybe doing hide-and-seek, or just chatting while on Discord.
Gameplay:
Exploration: Navigate through a new world, where the only way to survive is getting resources on the streets.
Multiplayer Mode: Join with friends, explore the world together, find secrets, play while chatting with your friends on other platforms, or even role-play!
Controls:
Movement: WASD keys for movement, Spacebar to jump, Shift to sprint, and Ctrl to crouch.
Combat: Use left mouse button to attack.
Find pretty much everything else you need to know in the options menu that you can find in-game.
Story:
In a world where the rich thrive and the poor struggle, Jared finds himself on the lowest rung of society.
