Insomnia is a project the I have come to and scrapped multiple times, be it on simple platforms, like Roblox, Scratch, and even the possibility of a MineCraft map at one point! But each time something went wrong, and I gave up, but, as I've said many a time before, I am bringing back the project, this time reincarnated on the Unity 3D engine. I'd like to point out (before people get frustrated over it) that I am not by any means a professional developer, and the game will most likely be pretty bad for the first few updates, and please remember that this is a one person project. Anyway, I'm sure your interested in the actual game if you've read this far, so, here's a quick briefing:
Insomnia will take place in the mind of a young child, suffering from, well, insomnia (the difficulty to fall asleep and stay asleep), and has recurring nightmares involving them, their family, and anyone else around them, most events will happen in a recreation of the child's home, and there will certainly be an abundance of spooks, and screams (hopefully).
The story's real plot line is still in development, and I won't be working full time on it until I've finished setting up maps and character designs. This is because I think it only makes sense to work out each step one at a time, rather than flood myself with writing the story and drawing out environments at the same time. At the moment I have no real funds for the game, but I believe I may actually get through the project without spending a sing penny.
I'd also like to mention that, since I haven't moved on to developing a playable version of the game just yet, I am open to suggestions, and even design and story ideas.
