Been binging on the Asylum entries today and I have to say this is my favourite thus far. Short, but hugely effective. Nicely done!
I really, really liked this! Very creepy, and I like the fact that you were surrounded by darkness asides from heading towards the light. I will say that I swear I heard the sound of a door creaking open at one point, which didn't sound very fitting for this game, and I felt like the flashlight was pretty useless. After I was told to turn it off when I heard footsteps, I just kept it off the entire time and went towards the light. Everything else was great. I'll be adding this to my list of favorites from this jam. ^^
At the begining i though it was going to be kinda lame, but after a while it got spooky. I really liked that detail of a skeleton heart beat, her spirit stills here atached to her body...
Also, did he dieded??
5/5
Nice! The darkness made it feel like the area was much larger, and I spent a lot of time after each hide searching in vain for the monster. My only real complaint were that the footstep and breathing noises were really short clips, and quickly became irritating. Also why a breathing mechanic in a vacuum?
Great job on a quick jam, look forward to more of your work.
Creepy game! Nice Job! I included it in part 4 of my Asylum Jam Compilation video series, if you would like to take a look :) http://youtu.be/s_CEVauFcqE
