Hey,
This was a great game to play, maybe my favourite of the 3 I played from you so far. I liked the puzzles too and the range of different attacks were cool and diverse. Can't wait to see what other games you have coming up :)
Also...the music was on point as always!
This game is really fun!! And i beated the game. I liked it!!!!
Great game, thank you!! I beat it :D (with the default difficulty settings, using the original weapon (because I couldn't figure out how to switch weapons lol)) The game overall was quite a surprise; not what I was expecting, and your jokes are funny!
I dont know how to get out of the first room that you start in. It looks like I should simply be able to jump over the hurdle and exit the room but after mashing the keyboard I can't find out how to jump.
Also I think you should bind either rotation or strafing to the right hand arrow keys in addition to the current keys. I could imaging that moving with wasd, and either rotate/strage with left/right arrow, plus space to shoot would be more comfortable.
This is cool considering you made a 3d game in a 2d engine which is bad ass. The only complaints i have is that j is jump instead of space and also we aren't ever told the controls

Quadratic Attack 3D is an in-beta #retro 3D run-and-gun #platformer available for #windows computers.
The objective of the game is fairly simple: Advance forwards, shoot enemies, press switches to open doors, watch out for stage hazards like electrified floors, dodge projectiles, destroy bosses when you reach them, etc.
But be warned: As forgiving as the game is, with how many checkpoints it gives you, with the fact that you have no life limit, and even with how much health you have, it's still really hard. The stages start simple enough, but then you end up with areas pretty much made out of electrified floors that also have enemies all over the place. The bosses are hard enough to start with, and then you realize that some of them were pulling their punches once you get them low enough on health. Point is, expect to die a lot before finally clearing a given stage.
If you have any questions, feedback, suggestions, bug reports, etc., feel free to tell us in the comments below.
NOTE:
The game is pretty close to finished at this point, but there are a few reasons I'm still marking it as a beta:
1, I've gotten some very useful feedback that will be used to make a significant update that will improve many things about the game, including level design and soundtrack.
There may still be a few important, easily-fixed bugs that I missed.
There will likely be an "expansion pack" of sorts released in the future.
There will almost certainly be more mini-games added in the future.
