hey, could you, like... give credits to me since I own the game now and not marcel_productions since he left the fnaf community long time ago?

not that mad or anything, just wanted to let you know since he isn't in charge of the game anymore.

other than that, this feels oddly refreshing to see a recode of my older games. good job out there!

Every few months I check out what's new with gamejolt, but I always end up being disappointed—until now. The feeling I got from seeing this, reminded me of the motivation behind why I joined this community in the first place. The fact that the game that Andrew and I created in just a few hours, stuck with you and inspired you to build it from the ground so you could do it justice, is so amazing. It is truly a heartwarming feeling, and I really appreciate you for it.

I’d love to give a shout-out to this and to you on my main account, but I lost my account details and haven’t been able to log in for a couple of years now. Keep up the fantastic work!

Played through much of this recode and I gotta say... it's really neato so far! Made it to the Custom Night section and did try out the 4th challenge a couple of times. (The lengthiest challenge out of the others.) However what I've noticed is when I get around to 4 AM, I fully run out of flashlight battery and I get myself jumped from there. (Don't know if I've enough flashlight battery for the rest of that challenge after 4 AM since it runs out very quickly by the time I've reached that point.) Don't think there's anythin' else as of now, so yea! Just wanted to let ya know!

SYNOPSIS

October 30, 2024

This morning, I went out and saw a strange garbage bag on my lawn, tied with thread. Inside the bag was an old VHS-tape, smeared with dirt. Looking closer, I recognized it. Yes, it was the one I sent them. How ironically.

But this time there was something scribbled on it: «not fair». Funny. Who left it? Don't care. I went inside and it seemed like hours before I managed to get the tape working properly. There was nothing to do, so why not remember the past? Maybe this time I'll be able to understand him.

Although it is unlikely.

Do you remember "Restless At Freddy's"?

It was one of the first fnaf fan games i've played, and it gave me an unpleasant feeling of dread. Maybe it was due to the uncanny simplicity of the environments, or maybe it was because of my childish mind. I thought there was something malicious behind it.

Sometime after, a year ago, I played it again and was disappointed entirely. It seems my memories once again failed me. I did some thinking and decided to give this game a second life.

To my surprise, no one has ever tried to recode this game, so I thought it was a good opportunity. Now, I'm sharing my vision with you.

Really hope you enjoy it.
