This game was transformed from a font created for the Fontstruct.com Gamecomp competiton. Each letter in the font is a different chamber in the enemy's environment. All backgrounds and sprites were created in Fontstruct and edited in Photoshop using the RayType Alpha TrueType font.
It is a simple, but a little difficult, shooter that occurs between the 1981 Konami Scramble arcade game (the first side scrolling shooter) and Irem's 1987 release of R-Type. The soundtrack is in deference to another 80's shooter, Xenon 2 Megablast.
There is only one life given to complete the entire stage. Some parts are tricky but possible, others are not possible at all. You're probably going to die a lot, so the game immediately starts back at the beginning instead of the start page, which will only return if you complete the stage.
Controls: Arrow Keys for movement, Space Bar to fire.
