RO.BOT Model YK-2188 is the latest and greatest robot from Machinecorp, made specifically for exploring procedurally generated planets. Your RO.BOT has a limited power supply, however all planets conveniently are equipped with locations to recharge this power. Your RO.BOT also comes pre-equipped with a drill, perfect for breaking rocks to assist your RO.BOT in planet exploration.
Each solar system your RO.BOT explores will contain a few planets as well as a space station. Space stations will give you upgrades for your RO.BOT. The planets usually have a lot of rocks. And more rocks. And probably more rocks. Machinecorp does not survey planets ahead of time, but we can guarantee rocks will be on the planet.
Your RO.BOT is also capable of buying and selling modules at somewhat conveniently located Machinecorp vending machines. Modules can be acquired on planets. Occasionally, it is possible to find the ruins of past civilizations on planets. These ruins may and or may not contain useful modules and such for your RO.BOT. Ruins also may contain objects with unknown effects. Caution is probably advised.
If your RO.BOT runs out of power or otherwise runs into problems, Machinecorp is not responsible. Machinecorp is also not responsible for the gradually increasing difficulty on planets you explore. Machinecorp also is not responsible for dysfunctional modules. Machinecorp is not responsible for excessive amounts of rocks. Machinecorp isn’t really responsible for anything that happens. Except for bugs. Machinecorp is responsible for those.
