after what i have seen: you should stop using a picture from google as a background and using assests from the gamemaker folder aint a wery good idea.
you should go on opengameart.com and look for a tileset there. and look after a background that fits the other assests of the game. :) you can also consider taking a look at Pyxel edit a realy good pixel art program. tell me if you need any help ;)
This is the game im doing right now,your objective is to Save the Princess and Avoid all the Red Robots if Possible to not die,its still in development so Keep Seeing the Updates im going to make: -New Levels...
