Made for #fearjam 2018
by Nick Engell & Kyle Weekley
Story So Far:
In an effort to escape a man trying to bring you in for a mistake you made some time ago, you find yourself lost in the woods as a thunderstorm rages. Through the rain, you spy a small cabin with bright lights in its windows. You move to bang on the door, but to your surprise, it swings open at your touch. With your pursuer still close by, you seize the opportunity and move inside, locking the door behind you. Hopefully, you can lie low and wait out the storm here. But why was this cabin left lit up and abandoned?
Controls:
Move the mouse to look around
WASD to walk
Hold SHIFT to walk slightly faster
E to examine objects
Q to leave an examine screen

v1.0.1 Known Issues:
"Press E to examine" text may disappear in front of some objects. If something looks important, try hitting E anyway. What do you have to lose?
The bowl of tomato soup sitting on the chair currently has an examine text of "tomato" instead of anything that makes sense.
Spoilers Ahead
The minimal lighting in the final tunnel is a bit too minimal. It's tough to tell where you are supposed to turn, and dying here means 10 minutes of waiting to try again.
The game as a whole is too slow-paced. Time between pursuer dialogues and overall time before the endgame chase will be reduced in the next update.
