Shilka's Adventure - The Unofficial Kristal Reinterpretation

Version: 1.0.018 days ago

Shilka had a fairly easy life, being born wealthy and all, however that life did gave her a need for adventure and excitement, one that she satisfieds by stealing.

This project remakes her standalone text adventure where she tries to steal a famous painting from a building during it's anniversiary party, the "Opa Opa".

The original is a japan only weird online service for the sega genesis only spin-off of the Phantasy Star series, where each party member of Phantasy Star II was given an own adventure to call their own before the start of the main game.

This "remake", actually has a lot of differences, in total being a shorter game but due to Deltarune's Battle System and more complex graphics it has something in exchange for it's shorter runtime.

Deltarune was made by Toby Fox, Phantasy Star was made by Sega. Please support the official games, whether it be checking out Phantasy Star II or the original Shilka's Adventure, or by playing Deltarune.

PS: Some of the songs in this game use vocals by "Marie Ork", a voicebank that can sing, kinda like Hatsune Miku or Kasane Teto. Although she doesn't sing words. I forgot to credit her in the game release so I instead do the crediting here.

Shilka's Adventure, the unofficial Kristal remake is now complete!

Enjoy a short puzzle game where you try to steal a painting by using items to your advantage and fight in exciting Deltarune Style battles.

It can be enjoyed on it's own, too!

I have now added in screenshots to the main game page. I've done great progress in the last week!

Also look, Deltarune Shadowguys!

I turned the night sky background into a simple border for those who prefer their games with a border.

I also plan to finish this before DELTARUNE CHAPTER 5 releases, even if it means it will be smaller than planned, I am doing great progress!

A plant in a pot.

I may not work that much on it, but I do make slow and steady progress. Here are some plants to make the hotel less dull, just like how real plants make areas more colorful! How immersive!

Here is the full night sky, I was thinking about making the room scrool with a panorama effect but decided against it so the larger panorama night sky I drew didn't come into effect.

But here it is anyhow.
