Shilka had a fairly easy life, being born wealthy and all, however that life did gave her a need for adventure and excitement, one that she satisfieds by stealing.

This project remakes her standalone text adventure where she tries to steal a famous painting from a building during it's anniversiary party, the "Opa Opa".

The original is a japan only weird online service for the sega genesis only spin-off of the Phantasy Star series, where each party member of Phantasy Star II was given an own adventure to call their own before the start of the main game.

This remake, due to being remade in the Kristal engine, a deltarune engine, will carry traits from that game. That includes the gameplay and visuals being more akin to Deltarune. Yet it should still be enjoyable as someone who has neither played Deltarune nor Phantasy Star.

I also plan on making it part of a bigger Deltarune fangame of mine, where similar to another project of mine, Loving Genesis, it will serve as an optional arcade game, to fit the "Giant world to explore" vibe that game has going for: https://gamejolt.com/games/Starrunesupernova/1001105

This project is also here to train my pixel art skills, as it involves me needing to make plenty of art assets.

I turned the night sky background into a simple border for those who prefer their games with a border.

I also plan to finish this before DELTARUNE CHAPTER 5 releases, even if it means it will be smaller than planned, I am doing great progress!

A plant in a pot.

I may not work that much on it, but I do make slow and steady progress. Here are some plants to make the hotel less dull, just like how real plants make areas more colorful! How immersive!

Here is the full night sky, I was thinking about making the room scrool with a panorama effect but decided against it so the larger panorama night sky I drew didn't come into effect.

But here it is anyhow.

On the rooftop.

It is incomplete, it still needs some objects of actual interest, but I wanted to do the space background first. I think it turned out pretty well. The "Lighten" feature helped with the less bright stars.

I made a small animation for Shilka playing the piano. Now all I need to do is make it move at the same BPM as the played song and it vaguely looks like she is playing it, barely, but still!
