Notes:
If the game some times seems like it frame skips for a moment, don't freak out, it's probably just loading the next section of the map.
This game won't hold your hand. It will help you understand the controls, but it won't tell you where to go or which key goes on which door.
Exploration of the unknown is the basis for this game.
The story isn't obligatory, you will eventually find notes that give you hints on the back story, but you don't need to go look for them if you don't want to.
The story is kind of 'read between the lines' story telling style. The notes you find and the environment around you may give you hints on what's going on. They're puzzle pieces asking to be put back together for the bigger picture. So keep an eye out on your surroundings.
Keep an ear out for the creature as well. You'll be able to hear it move if it's nearby. It is also invisible but you will be able to see its shadow on the walls or floor. Remember that camera you picked up?
DON'T GET CORNERED BY IT!
For now don't expect it to be too long. Think of it as a short film that may have the potential of becoming a feature film. If you liked it and wish to see this game expanded further leave your comment bellow. If you happen to find any glitches or bugs I may have missed let me know. I tried to be as thorough as possible, but some things might have passed me by unnoticed.
Bugs:
(There are a couple of small bugs I haven't managed to fix yet)
If going down the stairs you feel like you got stuck, just let go of the forward button for a split second and move again. You should start moving again.
Although this game has gamepad support, you will still need to use your mouse to navigate the menus.
If the textures seem to switch between hi-res and low res, drop down the console - the key under Esc and over Tab - and type r.Streaming.PoolSize (value) (i.e. r.Streaming.PoolSize 2048). This will increase the streaming file size for the textures and stop them from switching back and forth.
Let me know if you find any other bugs.
