How to install:
Alpha 4 Windows
run the .msi installer
use the created desktop shortcut
Alpha 4 Mac/Linux
download the jar
make sure you have java 8 installed
run with java
(the game is unstable on MacOS maximizing can cause crashes)
Alpha 3
extract the zip anywhere
go into the folder you extracted
right click SinkingSimulator2.jar and select open with java

A dedicated Graphics card, (must support OpenCL)
Known bugs
java.lang.RuntimeException: OpenCL error [-1000][0xCL_UNKNOWN_ERROR_CODE]
Choose another platform in the platform selector, or try to set your Nvidia control panel setting to high performance.
java.lang.RuntimeException: OpenCL error [-9999][0xCL_UNKNOWN_ERROR_CODE]
The drivers got an illegal read, it happens on older cards, update your drivers and keep restarting, eventually it will work.
Nothing happens:
make sure you have JRE 1.8 (java 8)
make sure your graphics drivers are up to date
make sure your graphics card supports OpenCL

Sinking Simulator is now on Steam.
It will release eventually, a few change will need to happen in order for the game to have better compatibility with the Steam UI, (Workshop integration and what not)
