THE STORY SO FAR

2132 AD. The Odyssey, a rusted cargo ship on its last legs, receives a weak signal while drifting above Mars. Through the static and signal fluctuations, a faint message can be heard:

MORE HAVE EMERGED FROM A PORTAL IN THE TELEPORTATION FACILITY

BASE PERSONNEL DWINDLING

REQUESTING IMMEDIATE SUPPORT

From the bowels of the ship emerges Vanguard, the finest marine in the Interplanetary Forces. Armed with only a shotgun and an axe bloodied in battle, he descends in a pod to the dusty surface of mars below to face off against the forces of Skorn alone.
