what do i do at the train station chase? All passages and doors are locked. What do i do?

just finished strawberry rhubarb route (guided ending btw). strongest points are totally the character portrait and the story, which is intriguing so far - although it's mostly just mystery so I hope that we find out what's happening as the game develops. Also, while I don't know if you're going to replace the graphics by the time the full game comes out, I will say that the current maps look nice - shows that you don't always need custom graphics just to make a good game, as most of this game simply uses rtp well enough. some of the chase sequences were annoying, rely on trial and error - like the maze chase. I would like if the game would automatically save at these points. As a final point, during cutscenes, your controls aren't disabled, so you can potentially softlock yourself if you idly press the arrows keys like I did during these moments, as the movement route event gets stuck. Anway, good job on the demo and keep up the good work, Cyan_Heart!

Just had my friend playtest it and we discovered a few game-breaking bugs. Specifically during the chase scene in the Big City. The secret ending exit is literally just open. My bad.

Slice Is Life is coming back and is actually going to be playable soon! I've been working hard over the last few months to update the game and prepare a demo. More information in the reply to this post.
This is on hiatus. It'll probably be on hiatus for quite some time.
It's been about two weeks since I last made progress on this game. During that time, I started and finished another project. I'll be getting back to work on Apple's route now. Hopefully this'll be done before the end of 2022. Sorry for the wait.
