You should totally make a move overwrite enemy's tiles. And add AI, doesn't seem extremely difficult.

A simple turn-based, red-vs-blue game in which alternating players try to flip a tile that will flip the most subsequent tiles, with the goal being to cover the most tiles of the board with your color.
