With the addition of Luigi is cool, and the auto-save feature makes this even better!

Super Mario Bros. Proto Remix
This is a project that brings together several stages of development of the first Super Mario Bros. in a single game. Old models, old plans, things that weren't approved for the final version. There are also new levels and new things that don't have much to do with the beta, but that are still (in a way) part of what could have been if it had continued. Therefore, the game becomes very different from what you are used to.

Story:
"The Mario Brothers were leaving the house until they found a mysterious cartridge with the initials "M". The Mario brothers take it to their shed, where they keep an old Famicom (Japanese NES). Bowser sees and starts following them. Then Mario and Luigi start playing a "Super Mario Bros" game completely different from the one that came in the final version. Bowser continues to spy on them... the brothers don't even notice it. Could he have something to do with it?"

This fan game introduces "auto-save". Each level you beat, the game will save. But remember that you will not be able to change the character after that (as in Super Mario All-Stars), only by starting a new game.
