SMØR - Thanks to Maurice (a SMØR Fan-Album)
A full compilation of SMØR’s songs and instrumentals — collected in one place. It’s dramatic, weird, emotional, sometimes stupid, and probably cursed... but also strangely beautiful. This project isn’t official, just a fun tribute made with care, chaos, and way too many hours listening to distorted synths and screaming robots.
More seriously, this is a little fun project I put together in about 3–4 hours. I’m maybe planning to make a double CD edition, with a DVD that includes full clips and fan content (clips, interviews, fan-edits, etc.). I tried to mimic the style of SMØR’s album covers from YouTube Music, SoundCloud, and maybe Spotify (I don’t know, I don’t have it).
Maybe I’ll come back later with a better version or even a Deluxe Edition (1 CD / 1 DVD) like I said earlier.
And for the only person who somehow helped on this project — for some reason — and who I’m sure secretly contributed to the full creation of SMØR’s music in ways we’ll never understand:
