For anyone finding the project here for the first time: S.N.A.P. is a first-person survival horror hidden-object game where you photograph trapped souls hidden inside cursed objects while riding through a cannibal family’s dark attraction. Each run shifts the hunt around you, and surviving all 3 loops means finding every object before the house finishes the job.
This new build comes from two places: features we were already building, and feedback from players who helped us see where the demo needed more clarity, more tension, and better payoff.
What changed in this build
Hint system added
We added a hint system to help players locate certain cursed objects without killing the pressure of the hunt.
Improved controls and visuals
We tightened the feel of the ride and improved readability and presentation so the demo plays and looks better in motion.
New in-game UI
The demo now tracks:
remaining pictures
remaining hints
your last captured photo
Stronger scares
We pushed the horror further in this build to give the demo more danger and better escalation.
Important note about the demo
This demo is only a small slice of the full game.
The full version is built around a larger ride through the whole house, more cursed objects, more variation between runs, and 3 loops. Even in the demo, object locations are randomized, but this build is still only a fraction of the full structure we’re building.
We’re a two-person team, so progress sometimes comes in ugly bursts, but we’re pushing hard and using every round of feedback to make the game sharper.
If you try the demo, the two things we want to know most are:
does the object hunt feel fair?
do the scares and pressure build the way they should?
Thanks for checking out S.N.A.P.
