Also known as Sonic Battle 2. Sonic Grand Tournament acts as a direct sequel to the 2003 gameboy advance game, Sonic Battle, but swaps the beat-em up gameplay with turn based RPG battles and adds many new gameplay elements including:
Many story modes that focus on a certain character and all will evenally collide with each other.
Grand Tournament mode which allows you to play as a team of three and battle many other teams back to back and each team has a unique story to follow.
Over Fivety unlockable characters, from many differant video game and TV franchise's, including, but not limited to: Metriod, Super Mario, My Little Pony, Cave Story, Dragon Ball, etc.
Unlockable scenario's allowing you to play importent battles and events from different video games and TV shows, with preset party members and equipment.
Chao garden's that are similar to Sonic Advance 2's with many improvements.
A fully open world to explore at your lesure with many NPC's to interact with that may give you hints for upcoming battles and many secrets to find.
and lots more!
The game is made to feel like an rpg with with elements like mmorpg's, only it's single player and doesn't require an internet connection. duh.
