Space Monsters is a futuristic top-down shooter game, made with Game Maker 8, and the first game of the series released in 2015 by Psonic, the fan team. It is also a titular reference to Taito's 1972 mechanical game but it was renamed as Space Invaders by Mr. Nishikado's video game theory. And that what we call an inspiration with many traditions of monster-involving shooter games, such as Alien Shooter, Alien Breed, Crimsonland, Space Invaders, Alien Swarm, Half-Life, Doom and The House of the Dead.

The story is all about to set the spectacular future in the year 2025, where the teleportation devices are falling from an alien dimension of Xenoverse (also known as Xenoworld, Xenoria or Xenopolis) to mother Earth before they let the minions conquer or infest anywhere in the headquarters if Roki (the first evil mastermind and the fellow predecessor of Syrax) set his control over instead of planetary crisis. Therefore the Long Passage Incident has begun and the fellow operatives of a heroic organization, known as Investigate Force, must resist the alien invasion and protect the honor for the survival of humankind under the operations of its main ringleader and founder named General Baxter.

As the story continues in the year 2026, Syrax will be the next evil mastermind and continue the alien works after avenging its predecessor's death. However, another incident has started to investigate the cause of another aggressive invasion when humankind is in danger again. So Billmore and the rest of the Investigative Force must investigate and stop the one who is responsible behind this event that goes again before causing a massive destruction.

Be a hero of the final hope and the fate of humanity is upon you.

In the game, you will find these features:

• 12 missions in the first campaign and 8 missions in the second campaign (20 missions in total), including the tutorial sequence.

• 9 types of weapons

• 7 types of locations

• 6 playable characters

• Many types of monsters

• Some RPG elements

Keybord controls:

• ESC - Toggle menu

• Number keys (from 1 to 9) or Q and E - Change weapon

• Up arrow key or W - Move up

• Left arrow key or A - Move left

• Right arrow key or D - Move right

• Down arrow key or S - Move down

• R - Reload

• M - Toggle map (if you got a radar)

• Ctrl - Toggle sniper scope (if you have sniper carbine)

• F1 - Show game information

• F3 - Restart level (Campaign mode only)

• F2 - Debug message log

• F9 - Take a screenshot

Mouse controls:

• Left mouse button - Shoot or attack

• Right mouse button - Melee

Placing items such as dynamites, number of lives and other usages during in-game will automatically occur at the upper right corner of the screen.
