Hello, this is a project that is being worked on at the moment by myself and a side project to simply see what I can do inside of Unity now. If you have played the past game, Space War Defender, you will note that it was very basic, a big reason for this is because I was still new to Unity and I used the game to learn it as well as to properly program in it.

Space Defender 2 is different, I plan on adding completely new systems to the game and actually have it breathe color (since the past game was entirely in grayscale). Another thing that I am aiming to do make this game have power-ups as well since I think that it will be great with some.

So what is the goal of the game?

  • Have all of the past game features of the first, but more well built and improved upon.

  • Implement color including customizable colors (i.e the ability to choose the color of the main character, etc)

  • Make power up something.

  • Implement a full boss with full components.

This is all I plan to do, I don't how long this will take to make, but the first one took a week to make, so if I had to guess on the length of development, it may be a month to a month and a half. I hope to actively update and give you guy's some insight in the game and also release an early build of it as well. I hope you stick around to see this to the end, bye.
