Hello, this is a project that is being worked on at the moment by myself and a side project to simply see what I can do inside of Unity now. If you have played the past game, Space War Defender, you will note that it was very basic, a big reason for this is because I was still new to Unity and I used the game to learn it as well as to properly program in it.
Space Defender 2 is different, I plan on adding completely new systems to the game and actually have it breathe color (since the past game was entirely in grayscale). Another thing that I am aiming to do make this game have power-ups as well since I think that it will be great with some.
So what is the goal of the game?
Have all of the past game features of the first, but more well built and improved upon.
Implement color including customizable colors (i.e the ability to choose the color of the main character, etc)
Make power up something.
Implement a full boss with full components.
This is all I plan to do, I don't how long this will take to make, but the first one took a week to make, so if I had to guess on the length of development, it may be a month to a month and a half. I hope to actively update and give you guy's some insight in the game and also release an early build of it as well. I hope you stick around to see this to the end, bye.
