Good art style. I thought there are no music but it starts when approaching the boss.
I loved it, very entertaining.
Very fun game !
Quite a lot of fun little weapons to try, I had a good time going through all of them. The homing and lightning weapons were probably my favourites. The boss was really funny, glad I managed to do well enough to get to it!

Spiffing Invaders is a shooting game where you play as a Ufo invading London and fighting their powerful tea drinker's army. You'll earn score points by surviving and abducting them!
Destroying them doesn't give you extra points, but they can drop four different weapons.
After beating their army it's time to fight their Spiffing Boss. He has 3 different stages with unique battle styles. If you win, you will finaly reach the endless bonus stage where you can abduct valuable cows. But be aware, they will use their heavy weapons to protect their cows!
You can play with a friend, it's even better. If your friend die, you can save them by destroying enemies and abducting the box with your friend's picture.
The final score will be saved as "solo" or "teamwork".
No animals, UFOs or British people were harmed in the making of this game.
The thing in their hands is a cup of tea.
No one really dies, they are transported to a fancy place to drink tea. This is cannon.

Hello, I made this game for the Opera Gx Game Jam 2021, in two weeks, using Game Maker Studio 2.
Everything in the game, except for the audio was made by me using the GMS2. I used it to code and to draw the sprites. I used keyboard and mouse for everything.
The Boss Music "Prepare for Battle" is by Marllon Silva (xDeviruchi), under the Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license.
I've downloaded it from Itchio for free.
Every other sound comes from "Yal's Sound Effect Pack" by Yal. I bought it from Itchio for $4.99. Some audios were edited by me.
