As a Super Smash Flash 2 player, the battle is really good, but the stage is VERY small. You barely leave the screen and you lose your stock, which is very easy, either because you roll too far away or because an attack simply takes it away.
There are two ways to solve this:
1. Enlarge the stage and slightly reduce Roaring Knight's knockback.
2. Switch to stamina mode instead of using the damage meter.
And if you bring up the topic of Master Hand being a boss and the damage meter, it's easily answered since all his attacks are designed to knock you off the stage. With Roaring Knight, his attacks are simply for trying to survive while you try to defeat him. The best characters for this are the midweight characters (especially Peach) because they are capable of surviving. Lightweight characters die after taking just three attacks, and heavyweight characters simply can't dodge because they are too big to even attempt to dodge, and their jumps are usually not very high.
So this is my opinion: the mod is a 6.5/10, very good, but with a difficult difficulty level. To play effectively, you have to use spot dodge and air dodge a lot (roll dodge isn't recommended because you can die by going off the stage).
