My drill is the drill that will pierce the heavens!
All Gurren Lagann references aside, really solid game.
Hey! I featured some footage from your game in the intro of my latest list. Since I didn't actually talk about it, I wanted to leave feedback. I really enjoyed it. Very addictive! It's a perfect balance of speed and excess visual stimulation, which I love because I'm practically an "ooh shiny colors" cat baby. Having cool down on the burst was a nice touch, I didn't feel overpowered, which would have been boring. Nice job getting it to run and play so smoothly without issue. Congrats on this one and good luck on future games!
Wow, I'm surprised my comment is the only one expressing dislikes about this game.
I do think this game is fairly good, and I did enjoy it at first, but then some issues started to arise, such as how you are always locked on and gravity-pulled towards enemies, which means that if you get injured or run out of fuel, you can't move yourself to safety, and you end up crashing into the enemy instead. Even if this game is inspired by Star Fox, well, at least you have more free movement in that game instead of being constantly locked on to an enemy and making a beeline straight towards it.
Also, changing what you are locked onto is difficult, because it could take forever to lock on to an asteroid when you are in desperate need of health. And when you change your target, it's completely random what it changes to. A few times I tried pressing the opposite button to lock onto an asteroid I had targeted before, but instead I'm going after another enemy.
So I'm sorry to say that this is nowhere near as good as Star Fox is, but still, I don't think the game is necessarily bad.
I like this game. Drilling enemies in outer space. Graphic is so great. Good controls and great work. You working really well.
so cool needs more levels
