In the year of our Lord 2642, humanity has evolved technologically to the point where the line between technology and magic has been blurred - and at great cost to civilization. This 'techno-magick' has ushered in a new dark age, and the ways of a bygone era have returned. Though this new world may be without kings and kingdoms, there remains a dominant force - an organization known as the "Steel Coven." This mysterious group wields the most advanced knowledge of the inner workings of techno-magick, and has harnessed its power to create a coven of cybernetic witches to do their dark bidding and keep humanity shackled under their pseudo-rule.
Such as with all imbalances of power, a small yet heroic group known simply as the Witch Hunters Guild has formed. Sworn to protect humanity from the Steel Coven's dark ambitions, they aim to restore civilization by taking down the Steel Coven and eradicating the earth of techno-magick altogether.
Take on the role of Lucius Nightshade, an adept member of the Witch Hunters Guild, and infiltrate the lair of the Steel Coven. With an arsenal of techno-magick-imbued weapons at your disposal, you must fight fire with fire and take on the witches of the Steel Coven. But beware, this is no small task. In addition to the witches of the Steel Coven and their minions, you will also encounter other deadly threats such as traps.
