Steel Maiden

Hey all, I've considered working on this game, but changing the title to "Diamond Dolls". It'll be to support what the main girls in this game are and to help with showcasing them and their skills more.

This is what taking damage will look like in Quirk'etal. I showcase how it looks when getting hit by a strong attack, then getting hit by a normal attack. I'm sure this'll make for a decent challenge regardless.

In this video, I showcase the moving platforms and how they interface with a beat em up game. The only hard part is jumping from them using the up key, but other than that, it's very easy still. I'm sure those will make the game more tricky if done right.

Here's a small update on the eight Radiant Dolls, but with new masks. I only gave them masks so they'd be unique compared to other hero girls out there, hope that change is a welcome one.

In this video, I showcase the new ability of throwing things. The player can only hold and throw one object at a time, which will balance things out. The different objects will make for great moves when faced by a lot of enemy grunts!

Here's more basic movement along with a slight background change, also chose to showcase the player doing a three hit combo along with a dash tackle. It'll be a move that puts speed and power together, making for a great move.

In this video, I test out the new gimmicks in the Quirky Metal engine. Such as a three hit combo along with basic movement, and best of all, a scrolling background for a more realistic game. Every stage in game will have a scrolling background for depth.

Here's the attacks in Quirk'etal, all eight main girls utilizing their melee weapons whether they be elemental or not. Hopefully they'll add variety to the combat system and allow for an interesting game!

So glad to finally post here, it took a little while to get a new project started, but I managed to do it. Quirky Metal will be everything Levity Fleet was, except far better. I'm hoping for a more positive future on the new saga.
