Check out "Stop & Go" in my Gamejolt compilation #3
The Screen Shake is Way too much.
Other Games have it to make Actions like attacking more Impactful, just like this Game.
The Reason why it works in other Games, but not here, is, because in other Games the Camera only moves a really small amount of Pixels during the Screen Shake.
But here, the Screen Shake is so strong, that it just hinders the Gameplay by Disorienting the Player and thus, makes it artificially more Difficult.
in ANY Game, Screen Shake should either not exist or be very subtle.
Just like with any Game Design Rule, there are some Instances, where you can Break it, but before you break any Game Design Rule, you need to first know why this Rule exists.
For Example, the Amount of Screen Shake you have in this Game belongs to a Cutscene where a Building Explodes, not a Player Attack that is "just" hitting an Enemy with a Club during Gameplay.
That was enough negativity from me.
I must say the Game is otherwise very good.
It's just almost ruined by this fatal flaw, that caused me to fall in a Pit in Level 1, that I otherwise wouldn't fallen in,
thus making me Stuck in Level 1.
