STRIFESTUCK

A #homestuck #fangame revolving around Smash-esque #fighting.

STRIFESTUCK is a fighting game set in the Homestuck universe.
It is meant to be a tribute, glorifying and reminiscing on the 11 years of its history.

We want to draw on both traditional fighting games and the platform fighting genre popularized by Super Smash Brothers to create a game with room for both light-hearted, casual play and highly technical competitive play.

• Four input based fighting model, with light and heavy attacks, parrying and specials.

• Various fighting locations, based on SBURB planets, residences and hives.

• Character interactions like taunts, short dialogue, and combo reward lines that make each match feel more like the webcomic we love to hate.

The earliest demo we release will only include John, to act as a proof-of-concept. Once we've cemented the core mechanics, we will introduce Dave, then the other beta kids. If enough people are interested, we might consider other characters/stages.
